The two-day symposium Inward Outward was accompanied by a visual identity and a series of applications. The event explored the role of moving image and sound archives worldwide, and how they intertwine with issues of coloniality, identity, and race.

The design language plays with the optical illusion of a 3D space: just like the discussed topics, the visual system can be viewed from multiple perspectives. The result is a layered narrative in which content and form reinforce each other.
